Words of the perfumer Jean Jacques :

“The creation of an olfactory paradox arising
from the warmth of a solar accord
and the freshness and naturalness of Macha tea.”

Macha tea was once reserved exclusively for the elite and only consumed in Japan. Over the years it has expended to other cultures and became symbol of well-being, harmony and inner beauty. Soft like satin, sensual, feminine with an enveloping trail, Sillage de Thé by Masaki – Paris seduces by its bright and fresh notes.

A spring wind-
Stirs willow leaves
as a butterfly hovers unsteadily
(Haiku by Matsuo Basho)

“Haiku” is a type of poetry extremely popular in Japan. Composed of three short verses and seventeen syllables, it transferred to the reader an instant image and a strong and unspeakable sensation.
Inspired by the complex simplicity of these poems, Masakï Matsushïma designed a unique collection, conceptual and authentic, around this art.
HAiKU collection is a trilogy of perfumes based on three Japanese elements carefully selected: Sanshō Pepper, Macha Tea and Hinoki Wood.

The HAiKU are presented in the same original bottle in an avant-gardiste style. Masaki Matsushïma drew a slender bottle with geometric lines. He has opted for an interpretation of nature with an urbanistic approach. The cap, round and heavy, is cut in the typical Masaki style.
